Hello Dan,
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that you get event error 4535
about SBS Monitoring and Reporting. If I have misunderstood the problem,
please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, I suggest we try the following steps to see if we can
resolve this issue:
Step 1: I suggest you try to reinstall the Health Monitor 2.1 on SBS to see
if it help.
1. Remove Health Monitor from Add/Remove programs Microsoft Health Monitor
2.1
2. Reboot
3. Run Setup from "cd-rom drive:\disk3\HEALTHMON21\I386"
4. Reboot
Step 2: After reinstall Health Monitor, we need to run CEICW:
Go through the follow KB and rerun CEICW carefully.
How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825763/en-us
Step 3: Check the IIS settings:
1. Please open IIS on SBS
2. Extend Default Web Sites -> Monitoring
3. Right click Monitoring, select properties
4. Select Directory Security tab, click Edit button under Secure
Communications panel
5. Uncheck "Require secure channel [SSL]" option
6. Click OK twice.
If we cannot resolve the issue after we perform the above steps, please
help me collect some information for further investigation:
1. Please let me know the detail symptom you experienced.
2. Gather MPS network report on SBS:
a. Download MPSrepot_network from
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE
b. Run MPSRPT_NETWORK.exe on the server box.
c. The tool will automatically collect the information. This procedure will
take 10~15 minutes.
d. Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder:
%SystemRoot%\MPSReports\Network\Reports\Cab\
e. Send the .cab file directly to me at v-terliu.DeleteThis@microsoft.com
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| An error occurred in attempting to send a Server Status Report in e-mail.
| The e-mail message was not sent. There may be a problem with connectivity
or
| system configuration. Ensure that the ASP.NET State Service and IIS Admin
| service are running. You can also try resetting your monitoring and
reporting
| preferences. To do this, open the Monitoring and Reporting taskpad in
Server
| Management, and then click Set Up Monitoring Reports and Alerts.
|
| For more information, see Help and Support Center at
| http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
|
| I have checked the 3 below services which are all running.
