Hi there,

has anyone had any luck extending the boot volume of a windows 2003
server using the diskpart utility.

i keep getting the following error when i try to extend the partition.
"The volume you have select may not be extended"

I am booting the server into 'safe mode with command prompt' when i try
this.

any suggestions welcome!
Thanks in advance
jason

Do not delete the partition; there is a more efficient way to solve your problem.
And you are very lucky, I just got the useful information about http://www.extend-partition.com/extend-system-boot-partition.html (extend boot partition), I can share with you.
My friend told me, Extend Partition Assistant Professional Edition can work well.
They often resize partition (extend partition, shrink partition…) through it, so, I can promise you--it worth to try.
This software has free edition, you can experience its superiority.
