I have an SBS 2003 SP1 Premium Edition, with ISA 2004 and VPN.
Everything was working fine for the last 10 months.
Recently after a Windows Update with several security fix downloaded and installed, I have the PPTP and L2TP ports that are missing from the RRAS MMC.
I have a scheduled task that reboots the server every morning at 5.00 am
using shutdown /f /r
After that, no PPTP/L2TP ports in the RRAS MMC.
I tried to restart the RRAS service several times - nothing.
In the properties it shows that the PPTP/L2TP ports are correctly configured by ISA.
I tried to manually restard the server, I realized that after doing that the Ports are showing up again on the RRAS MMC.
There are no errors on the Event Viewer related to that.
It look likes to me that one of theses updates makes the VPN server actig "buggy"...
I've seen different topics with similar problems.
Someone said something about the updates without being specific.
Can somebody help me to troubleshoot this?
Thanks in advance
