Post subject: W2K3 Server and two NIC's issue

Fully patched W2K3 Server running on HP Proliant ML330: one NIC is Intel Pro PCI and one NIC is motherboard based (I think this system uses a ServerWorks chipset)

NIC1 is configured to use private, static IP on our AD domain; Windows firewall OFF

NIC2 is configured to use public IP from our ISP (is connected directly to ISP); Windows firewall ON with exceptions for HTTP and FTP

Problem: when both NIC's are enabled, access to public IP breaks (no FTP or HTTP services found), the STATUS option shows very little send/receive activity on the public IP. If I disable the private IP NIC, the public IP NIC begins to work and vice-versa.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
