Post subject: Security Update MS06-033 / KB 917283
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>server>security (more info?)

Had server crashes (our ISA 2004 server and our MOM server) after installing
this update. Found then KB article 923100 that .NET 2.0 framework has to be
removed and reinstalled before installing the 917283 update. It's half an
hour work for each server.

Normally, we automatically distribute SW Updates on our customer locations.
Does anyone know when an update to the 917283 update will be available from
Microsoft that is compatible with an existing .Net framework 2.0
installation?

Thank you all in advance for your feedback.
Franz
