Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>server>migration (more info?)

I have a SBS 2000 server with exchange and am upgrading to 2003 standard. I
have been reading through the KBs provided by MS presales - specifically
555073. This KB is supposed to help me understand 'How to upgrade Small
Business Server Domain Environment to regular Windows 2003 Domain'. In fact
the documentation provided in this KB only details how to upgrade to a SBS
2003 server?
Well anyway, I was really left with one question, I am better to migrate to
a new 2003 domain or try and join the new 2003 server to the SBS domain and
then seize ownership?
