Post subject: Reinstalled computers get new WSUS accounts
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>server>update_services (more info?)

Eeach time a client computer is reinstalled, it gets a new account in
the WSUS server. How can this be awoided?

Maybe, you can manually delete old account from the WSUS server after
reinstalling, remain only the new account.

That would be a bit difficult to handle with 1000+ clients and
supporters reinstalling client using RIS every day. Smile
