hi, we are currently testing a new website on a win2003 server accessed via
IP address only. There are NO domains active on the server.

is there anyway i can test the email functions without an active domain -
BEFORE we go live with the dns switch?

the pop3 service has been installed..

virtual SMTP via IIS - Set at "Server Name"
POP3 accounts - "Server Name" and domain common name as per the IIS

any help appreciated.

Creating POP3 mailboxes - Does anyone know of a way to create new mailboxes by importing from either AD or a CSV file? It seems awfully backwards that the POP3 snapin would create a user account for you, but there is no option in AD to create a mailbox for a user. TIA Dave
