I am currently migrating from Novell to Active Directory. I am using
Microsofts File Migration Utility at the moment to transfer files and
folders. I've already migrated the tree. Im getting an error message on the
final step. It reads,

"No matching ACE entries were found in the migration log for these volumes.
Domain Admin will be the default. Either no mapping file was specified or
none of the trustees were in the migration log."

Hi,

Did you migrate the users before migrate the file ?

The error is thrown because none of the users that were listed in the
migration log (typically in C:\Winnt\System32\Directory
Synchronization\Session Logs) are trustees of the NetWare volume being
migrated.

The resolution is to make at least one user listed in the migration log a
trustee of the NetWare volume with Read and File Scan access rights.

Thanks.

Yes, We migrated the users via Microsoft's MSDSS tool. I checked the
migration log and the user (trustee) exists in the migration log.

We figured it out.
Target location was pointing at the bindery volume instead of the NDS Volume.
