Post subject: From Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 server with active directory
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>server>migration (more info?)

Our client is having a setup of 1 PDC + 3 remote location BDC's on NT 4.0
with domain single name without .com or any extenstion. We upgraded PDC to
Windows 2000 in mix mode but when we try to add any new Windows 2000 DC to
setup gives SAM error in even log of new DC with event ID 16650. Already gone
thru the Article ID : 839879. But without having .com in the domain name
couldn't go thru. Any idea how to do it.
