In June I stated shutting off my server at night (10p-7a). I switched to the
POP3 exchange connector. For the last month I started seeing progressive
more errors on the first startup, and only the first startup, in the
morning.
After the server starts, the first poll of pop3 messages will be hung in the
exchange server under Messages Pending Submission. The only way to get them
out, that I have found, is to reboot the server. This never happens if I
reboot the computer later in the day.
Also, Trend Micro's Client/Server/ Messaging Suite for SMB is having 'timing
errors' if I go into the Quarantined Email and delete files. This also is
getting progressive worst with time.
I suspect that Trend Micro is causing the problem with the exchange server.
I though I would check to see if anyone else has seen this problem before I
remove and reinstall Trend Micro.
Thanks, MikeMc
