Post subject: How to Make SBS faster (Q.1)
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>server>sbs (more info?)

SBS takes a day to install, and 3 minutes to loadup and switch off.

Where is the bottleneck in SBS03 with Exch03?

Will I see improvment moving to SQL?

Should I put effort into the drive array?

Should I demote the SBS to a single NIC server and allow clients to gateway
directly to the hardware firewall rather than passing all traffic through
the sbs. (the sbs can have its own unique external static IP from ISP)
