Post subject: Long logon in w2k3
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>server>active_directory, others (more info?)

It takes my server over 10 minutes to logon after the sign-in, saying
"applying network connection" and it sits there for 10-15 minutes.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks Kristofer for your reply.
I am not logging on to a true domain but a named workgroup. The
client's DNS is set to 192.168.0.1 which is also the default gateway,
and the DHCP server as shown in "Network Connections Details"
Are these settings correct?
