Setup Cannot Copy the file [filename]

Using Virtual PC for development work, I have a base vm provided by
Microsoft for a course I took. I want to install Windows Media Services.
From the Add Windows Components, I launched the installation. When it
attempted to find the WMS files and prompted for a location, I pointed it to
the Windows 2003 .iso image on my hard drive. After I pointed to the file it
was looking for, it didn't like it saying "setup cannot copy the file
[filename]". This kept happening for a number of files until I abandoned the
installation. Same results if I point to an actual DVD. I then tried
upgrading the image to R2. Similar results with a bunch of OS files. What's
the problem?

hi,
Ok, I made a change to my test user's profile and used the hidden share instead of the DFS share; IE:
\\Server\User\Profile$\%USERNAME% instead of \\newdomain.local\User\Profile\%USERNAME%.

The migration worked without a hitch. So ADMT 3.0 is incompatible with DFSr replicated redirected user profiles.
